Owned by EB Realty Management Corporation since August 2000, the 102 year-old building on the corner of Broad Street
and Washington Avenue originally housed the Marine Corps Supply Activity from 1904 to 1976. The Marine Club Condominiums
are located just minutes from the heart of Philadelphia and are only a short distance away from many of Philadelphias top
restaurants and attractions. At first glance, the buildings stone and brick facade tells nothing of the modern residential
oasis that now lies beyond the exterior walls.
In September 2005, EB Realty Management announced its plan to convert the apartment building into luxury condominiums.
The first phase of conversion will include upgrading the condos with granite kitchen countertops, custom-made kitchen
cabinetry and stainless steel kitchen appliances. Residents of the refurbished condos will also enjoy new hardwood
flooring, factory style windows and personalized finishes. Remodeled bathrooms will feature whirlpool tubs with separate
stall showers. Common area renovations include freshly designed and decorated hallways, elevators and lobbies.
Amenities are around every corner at Marine Club. The building will soon be home to a spacious spa and wellness
center with state of the art equipment, locker rooms, sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi. Residents can also take
advantage of the tranquil outdoor courtyard, complete with a BBQ area and dog-friendly park. The lavish courtyard
will feature manmade ponds with trickling water and exotic foliage, the perfect accent for an urban sanctuary.
A 24-hour concierge service will also be on hand to offer residents both dry-cleaning and parcel assistance.
Marine Club consists of 98 studios, 190 one-bedroom traditional, loft or platform-style residences and 7 two-bedroom
condos. Parking spaces in the enclosed garage are also available for purchase. The average condominium space is 670
square feet, and pricing starts in the high $100Ks.
