As the Gateway to the Avenue of the Arts, the Philly's pathway into the city's divider finest cultural and historical venues. Standing stoically on the corner of South Broad Street and Washington Avenue for more than 100 years, this former Marine Corp Quartermaster's supply depot served proudly in times of war. Today, it is providing the foundation for a community built on tradition but with vision for the future. Tradition and vision are two things developer Eric Blumenfeld understands. As owner of the Marine Club (through his company, EB Realty Management), he believes we're now writing the next chapter for this venerable historic building, where we respect and preserve tradition, but also restore and revive it to accommodate 21st Century living. That restoration includes spending approximately $20 million to convert nearly 300 units from apartments to condos in this multi-building property.
